the magnet sensor is connected to the i2c port of the mpu6050.
We have them running with the raspberry pi.
The IMU works fine and is with 29 Euros cheap.

I did some tests today and it looks like the new mpu60x0 subsystem does not work as intended.
The artificial horizon does not move at all and the raw accelerator ang gyro values look strange, here are some sample values:
>From the Accelerometer (raw values)
ax = -65636
ay = 3018600
az = 720872

And from the gyro (raw again)
gp = -1572818
gq = 10
gr = 0

The magnetometer values are always 0.

I also get some warnings during compile time about mismatched pointer types.
