running speech-dispatcher-0.7.1 in system mode

OK, to get gdm basically talking, go to the following link where I
offered some comments on configuring gdm to be accessible.
http://live.gnome.org/Orca/AccessibleLogin
Look for the section cerning Arch Linux. With the latest gnome and
all, you can ignore the stuff concerning at-spi-registryd because that
appears to be fixed now. I need to update this section to reflect
this. Since gdm can't find speech dispatcher or can't connect to it
while it is a system service, Orca should come up using gnome-speech
with espeak as the synth. Hopefully you should be able to get that
far. If speech dispatcher is configured in session mode with
autospawn, gdm will work with speechd; in fact, I think it finds it by
default and skips gnome-speech alltogether.

If we can't get gdm to work with speech dispatcher in system wide
mode, then all this effert for speech dispatcher in system mode will
be a moot point.
