Nice I think I found an old avrdude version for my old programmer firmware:
avrdude 5.2.
$ sudo avrdude -v -B 50 -p t2313 -c usbasp -U flash:w:main.hex
avrdude: Version 5.2, compiled on Aug 3 2013 at 04:39:58

avrdude: Yikes!  Invalid device signature.
         Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
         this check.

avrdude done.  Thank you.

But as you can see I got some errors.
Do you see the problem ?
