That would make "foobar", "foo@@bar", and "address@hidden" map to the same
file, which I think is no good.
The fact that we currently disallow @ in a node name is a limitation
imposed by the implementation of the language translator. The latest
rules of node-to-file-name translation were designed to support the
day when these limitations will be lifted.

I meant code solutions, not ideas. That is, patches.
