its debugged state. if you fetched after the last email you probably
only got a half-working version of it. 

sorry this is so rocky, but you're the first real "starting from a CVS
archive" project we've had try out monotone. I guess it's not quite as
slick on that path as I'd like. hopefully you'll soon be smooth
sailing.
